VLAM respects the Privacy of the users of its website.
The collection of "personal data" through the VLAM-website and the use VLAM makes of these data is strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Belgium law of December 8, 1992, on privacy protection in relation to the processing of personal data.

The collection of personal data when registering, buying and participating in actions:
VLAM collects personal data when a user registers on the website, decides to buy something via the website, or whether or not someone enters a promotional action. Personal information which is provided by the user when registering, buying or participating in certain actions, can be used by VLAM or by companies affiliated to VLAM for (direct) marketing purposes, customer management or to offer certain services; this information can also be provided to and shared with contractually allied parties. VLAM also collects personal information for internal purposes, such as e.g. profiling of the users of the VLAM website, analyses of web traffic, and also with a view to improving its services so they are better tuned to the needs of the user.

Use of "cookies"
Finally, VLAM also uses so-called "cookies". "Cookies" are small bits of data that are stored on the user's hard drive to facilitate the use of the website. Anyone who can proof his identity has the right to demand and obtain access to his/her personal data that are processed by VLAM. Furthermore, this person can at all times request any modification to his/her personal data. The demand of access and of modification of personal data must be addressed by postal mail with proof of identity to VLAM, Koning Albert II-laan 35 bus 50, 1030 Brussels.
He/she can also oppose the use of his/her personal data for (direct) marketing purposes via an email directed to vlam@vlam.be.
Modification and notification of this privacy regulation
VLAM reserves the right to adapt this privacy regulation at all times. Of course, VLAM will inform the users of its website thereof on its website or by email.

6. Final clause

Any conflict arising from this website will be exclusively dealt with under the Belgian Code of Law, under the sole competence of the courts and tribunals of Brussels (Belgium).
